Happy (early) birthday to Mettiz! ^^ Tomorrow it's her 19th birthday! Parrrrrtay!

Tomorrow is also the night we're taking the train to Oslo for a weekend at Desu con (Norway's biggest anime and cosplay convention). Right now I'm figuring out an OC I'll be cosplaying one of the days - probably Saturday - since my only anime costume so far is Saber from Fate/Stay Night, and I don't want to wear the same thing twice in a row. (Especially not since I've worn the costume many times already ((read: two)) and am getting quite tired of it as it is ) I have an assignment I could be putting the final touches on, and a driving license test I should be preparing for, but right now I'm all bedecked in silky morning gown and shawl, trying to figure out if I have any more fancy stuff that would do as accessories. I'll be wearing a mask from Venice too, with loads and loads of black and green feathers attached to it, but it's kind of warm and slightly uncomfortable so not something I feel like wearing while idly roaming the internet.

I'm pretty exited now. I haven't really been thinking much about Desu con lately, and I haven't really felt that interested either. But last night lightning struck my dense head and I had a moment of the very "AHA!" kind. "I can wear the mask I bought in Venice!" I thought to myself. And thus, Miage was born.

I don't know much about Miage yet, beyond the clothes and mask she wears. I have a feeling she's a bad guy or joker kind of character. She has already reserved a place in the story I will be writing one day, although as usual I know only a little of her and nothing of her story.

Lots of rambling, that was. I'm really looking forward to this weekend now. ^^ And I uploaded a picture for Mettiz that I coloured in PS, really really happy about it since I've never been able to do something like that before. 'tis a good day, or a good evenin' me tells you.
